Dr. Andrea Schaefer grew up in the city of Chilton, WI. Chilton is a small town on the east side of Wisconsin. After high school she attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She graduated in 2007 with a bachelor's of science degree majoring in Kinesiology. While at Madison, Dr. Schaefer was a member of the University of Wisconsin Marching Band. Some of her favorite memories are of her time in band. Through band she was able to meet some of her best friends, attend Badger home games, 4 Big Ten games, 3 Packer games at Lambeau Field, and 4 bowl games. Needless to say, she is a big Badger fan.

Shortly after graduating from Madison, Dr. Schaefer started her chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While at Palmer, she was involved in many clubs and served as class treasurer. She also tutored a first trimester anatomy course and served as an assistant instructor in the diagnosis and radiology department which allowed her to assist early trimester students with mastering the college's curriculum. For Dr. Schaefer, the most life changing experience at Palmer was a clinic abroad trip to Madagascar. In Madagascar, clinics were set up to provide health care to people who otherwise do not have access. Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world and this experience truly made her appreciate all opportunities she has. After a little over three years of study, Dr. Schaefer graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in June 2011 as valedictorian of her class and was inducted to the international chiropractic honor society, Pi Tau Delta.

As a new resident to Eau Claire, Dr Schaefer is excited to learn about the city and become involved in the community. She is eager to meet members of the community and assist them with their health concerns.
